Exploring the Cu Chi Tunnels is an amazing experience and a great day trip from Ho Chi Minh City that helps to sum up the incredible hardship of war as well as the tenacity and strength of the Vietnamese people. This elaborate system of more than 240 km (150 miles) of tunnels was dug exclusively using bare hand and simple tools throughout the French occupation and later the Vietnam War. After break for lunch, we will back to HCM City to visit the War Remnant Museum, the Reunification Palace, which was the residence of the President of South Vietnam until the end of the war in April 1975, and some beautiful French colonial structures including the Notre Dame Catheral and the Old Central Post Office. We end the city tour at Ben Thanh market where anything and everything is for sales.

HO CHI MINH CITY – MEKONG 2 DAYS

At Mekong Delta, visit the Cai Be floating market and watch the locals trading fruit and many other commodities on board their vessels. Visit a small family business to see how coconut candy and crispy rice popcorn are made. Then wander into the small villages to visit the orchard and fruit plantation, accompanied by traditional southern Vietnamese folk music….
