DETAIL ITINERARY:

Night 1: Hanoi – Overnight train to Lao Cai

Our tour will start at 8:30 P.M at the lobby of the hotel. Our guide will pick you up and transfer to the Hanoi Railway station for the night train to Sapa.

Overnight on the train with soft sleeper berth and air-conditioned.

Train: King Express train or Similar train

Day 1: Lao Cai – Sapa – Tram Ton Pass – Love Waterfall – Silver Waterfall – Sin Chai village (B,L,D)

6.30 am: Arrive in Lao Cai and be transferred by mini van to Sapa, which gives your eyes a massage with the endless blue sky and colorful terraced paddy field. The road is curved around the mountain and you will just go from one surprise to another. The further you go, the closer you are to the sky and to the nature. On arrival, you will stop at hotel for breakfast and relax.

The tour begins at 8.30 am with a car drive to Love Waterfall. On the way you will see the wonderful views of Hoang Lien Son Mountain Range and some plantations of roses and vegetables in the valley. Our car will stop at Tram Ton Pass which is the highest road in Vietnam at 2047 m above sea level. We will then walk about 1.1 km along the Golden River to visit Love Waterfall. After returning to Tram Ton Pass, our car will drive you to Silver Waterfall. You have 30 minutes to walk around this area to enjoy the stunning views of the mountains and valley. From here we will start the trek down to the valley towards Sin Chai village – the home of Black Hmong people. After having a picnic lunch, we will walk to Sin Chai village.

After that, you will come back to the main road to get a transfer back to Sapa town on a jeep for 3km. Dinner at the local restaurant and overnight at hotel in Sapa.

Day 2: Sapa – Y Linh Ho – Lao Chai – Ta Van – sapa – Lao Cai – Night train to Hanoi (B,L)

Enjoy breakfast at your hotel.

You meet your guide and start trekking. The first part we will mostly trek downhill Y Linh Ho hamlet. The trek offers some stunning views of the rice terraces, gardens and Fansipan mountain ranges. After going through a suspension bridge, we start walking up to Lao Chai San village where we are experiencing the richest traditional culture of Black H’Mong people in the region. The trekking route offers a breathtaking view of vegetable gardens and rice terraces with green mountains rising above. It will be time for visiting with local families and learning about their traditional fiber processing.

Next, you continue to walk to Ta Van village (1.200 m) to visit Zay people. Zay is a fairly small minority group of about 38.000 people who live mainly in the mountains in Northwest Vietnam. Ta Van is a small village set within a picturesque valley not far from the northern Vietnamese mountain resort of Sa Pa. The area is renowned for its colorful ethnic minorities, and Ta Van is home to two such groups.

12.00: Picnic Lunch at the restaurant by the side of the river.

The rest few hours in the afternoon is for freshen up, packing and rest before leaving Sapa for Lao Cai station to take the overnight train back, which arrive in Hanoi early next morning and ends the trip.

Day 3: Hanoi arrival

Up on arrival in Hanoi very early in the morning. We will meet and transfer you to your hotel in the Old Quater. End of service.
