The best period to do trekking in Sapa is from September to November. The weather at this time is nice and relatively cool with little or no rain. December to February may be cold and rainy. The next best period is between March and April which is spring season in Sapa, when the unpaved roads are not yet turned into a mud bath and the weather is pleasantly sunny or cloudy and dry which offers the very best conditions for trekking.
