Ba Be Lake is actually three small lakes joined together – Pe Lam, Pe Lu and Pe Leng. Located 145m above sea level, the lake has an average depth of 20-25m and its deepest part is 35m. The lake bed is made up of limestone with millions of crags and crevasses that are ideal for a large variety of marine life – there are over a hundred of species of freshwater fish in the lakes.
In this destination, you will join boat trip on lake and trek Pelam bay and back to Pac Ngoi village where most Tay people keep traditional houses.
Bao Lac (Cao Bang) : The Bao Lac district is located in the far north Cao Bang province of Vietnam. Close to the border with China. if lucky visit this destination on sunday morning, on small roads in these mountainous villages, you will meet groups of Lolo women dressed in their traditional costumes heading to the market.
So, travelling in this area offers you an opportunity to savor fabulous scenery, to discover rare ethnic minorities and maybe to share some hardship and laughter with them.
