DETAIL ITINERARY

Day 1: Hanoi – Night train to Lao Cai

20:00 P.M: We will be met at the lobby of the hotel in Hanoi and transfer to Hanoi Railways station for night train to Sapa. Overnight on train
Accommodation : 4 berth soft sleeper train cabin of King Express

Day 2: Lao Cai – Sapa – Love Waterfall – Golden Stream – Tram Ton Pass – Sin Chai Village (12km trekking, 4 hour trekking). (B,L,D)

Arrive in Lao Cai around 06:30 a.m. We will take 1 hour van ride uphill to the beautiful town of Sapa. You have breakfast at the hotel before having a 30 minute drive takes you to Tram Ton Pass at the height of 2,100 meters above sea level where great views are offered of the surrounding mountain and lush forests of the Hoang Lien National Park. From there you will trek an hour through forest, along Golden Stream to the Love Waterfall. It is the best place for relax in Sapa. Then return Tram Ton for a short drive to  O Quy Ho where you start to trek about 9km along the mountain trails to visit Sin Chai village, home to Black Hmong, pinic lunch will be served along the way. Being transferred back to Sapa in the late afternoon.

Day 2 : Sapa– Suoi Ho Village – Ma Tra Village – Ta Phin Village – Homestay (12km trekking, 3-4 hour trekking) (B,L,D)

09:30 A.M, we begin the day with a 3km trek through breathtaking landscape to the village of Suoi Ho, home to Hmong minority. From here you can enjoy views over endless rice terraces, and you will have the opportunity to see some of the animals used by the locals. Continuing on to Matra village you will come across the impressive ruins of a church dating back to the French occupation in the early 1900s. Take a minute to explore this intriguing sight and take some photos. Trekking to the village of Ta Phin you will be able to meet both Black Hmong and Red Dao minorities. The Red Dao are known for their expertise in herbal medicine as well as usage of plants from the land to treat many illnesses. Your guide will be able to introduce you to some Red Dao women who can tell you more about their many remedies. Check in the homestay. Having dinner and stay overnight with the local.

Day 3: Ta Phin village – Ta Seng Village – Mong Sen Village – Sapa  – Day Bus to Hanoi (10km trekking, 3,5 – 4 hour trekking) (B,L)

After having breakfast in Taphin village, we follow untouched trails through Red Dzao of Taxeng and Mongseng villages which is about 10km from Taphin. You will have  a rest next to beautiful stream in the jungle. And then we keep walking along the beautiful landscape of the mountain . We will reach Tacko at noon where we meet the car for transfer for to Sapa for  your lunch. At 02:00 P.M, we will catch our bus to Hanoi. Arriving in Hanoi at  09:00 P.M, ends the tour.
