Exploring Sapa remote villages and Bac Ha market 4 days 3 nights

Day 1: Take limousine bus from Hanoi to Sapa – Sapa arrival – Muong Hoa Valley – Back to Sapa for overnight at the hotel. (Lunch).

6:30 am: pick up at your hotel in the Old Quarter to bus office. 7 am bus departs for Sapa.
13:00: After about a 5- hour driver with short break en route, you arrive Sapa Town. Enjoy lunch in local restaurant and then get transferred to your hotel for check in.

2 pm: Tour guide and driver pick you up at the hotel to trek to Mương Hoa Valley. 6km of walking down to the south east of Sapa along the side of Muong Hoa valley to Y Linh Ho village of the Black H’mong. A 2km-trekking down to Lao Chai village, through terraced fields to Ta Van village of the Dzay minority people. Lunch at a local family, it gives you a worth chance for you to learn about the local house architecture which is full of their daily life styles and exclusive custom. After that car will transfer you back hotel in Sapa for overnight.

Day 2: Sapa – Bac Ha Market (only on Sunday)– Back Sapa Hotel. (Lunch included)

At 7:30 am, after breakfast at hotel. Driver and guide will pick you up for Bac Ha Market which opens only on Sundays. (So please make sure any of Day 2, day 3 or day 4 falls on Sunday then we can cover Sunday – Bac Ha Market).
This is the largest market in the region, a place where many ethnic groups gather to buy and sell, eat and drink together. There are 10 minority groups in the Bac Ha region. You can buy homemade handicrafts and clothes. visit the huge Bac Ha Market where is always a riot of colorful costumes with the ethnic people: Flower H’Mong, Dao Tuyen and Phu La. All get together here to buy and sell their products. BacHa market is a big market crowded with people from many different hill-tribes. This is the most colorful market in North Vietnam. Here, you have chance to enjoy the Bac Ha people’s simple but unique kinds of food with special wines made from rice, cassavas, corn and different sorts of fruits such as plums, apples and peaches.

After visiting market, visit the H’Mong Kings house (King Hoang A Tuong). Visit another Ban Pho village before going to Sapa. Stop over for see the Vietnamese and Chinese Harbor Mouth in Lao Cai.

After that you will be transferred back Sapa for overnight.

Day 3: Sapa – Silver waterfall – Love waterfall – Tram Ton Pass – Take cable car to Fansipan Peak and down by cable car – Back Sapa hotel. (Lunch included)

Met up at your hotel around 09:00 AM by our local guide and driver then depart for the Silver Waterfall. The Silver Waterfall is located about a half hour from Sapa town which offers stunning views over surrounding mountains and lush forests belonging to Hoang Lien National Park. You are advised to stop by a farm for a cup of tea and talk with people to understand their local life. After that, we are driven to Tram Ton Pass where we will trek 30 minutes through the forest. Along the way, you have chances to see wild flowers. Trekking along the Golden Stream, you will arrive at Love Waterfall. It is the best place for relax in Sapa, returning to Tram Ton Pass. Then we continue our drive uphill to the Heavens Gate, the highest stretch of road in Vietnam as well as the provincial border of Lao Cai and Lai Chau provinces. Enjoy fantastic view over the valley! After that we will be transferred to cable car station where we will have 25 minutes travelling to Fansipan Mountain where is considered to be the most beautiful landscape of Vietnam now. Back to Sapa Town to have lunch and free time in the evening.

Day 4: Sapa – Thanh Phu – Ban Ho – Back Sapa for bus back Hanoi. (MOTORBIKE AND TREKKING TOUR). Lunch included.

(Please note that we can do this tour for nice weather and you feel comfortable with motorbike ride, if not nice weather, we arrange car to send you along villages for visit, take photos.. )

In this route, our local guide highly recommend that you should try motorbike to combine sightseeing + trekking + taking photo since this route is far from Sapa, on the way, there are some stops are really impressive, you can visit and spend time there. And there are are some hidden parts and with motorbike you can enter and visit. In case, you are not familiar with motorbike, we can arrange car for transfer then you access villages and trekking through.

Thanh Phu village is about 35km far from Sapa town center. Thanh Phu village is one of the most remote in Sapa, which is the habitat of the Tay ethnic group. The way to Thanh Phu is one of the popular trekking routes for many foreign tourists, it will take your about 6 – 8 hours to reach Thanh Phu village from Ho village (Ban Ho). Although the trail is quite difficult to trek, it will allow you to admire the majestic and wonderful scenery along the way. You can see large valleys and streams winding around villages which make a peaceful and untouched beauty of a highland area.

At 8: 30 am: 01 guide (also as driver) and drivers with their motorbikes and helmets will pick you for your motorbike route. Firstly, heading to Ban Ho village, you have a scenic around Ban Ho village and the valley to learn more of Tay ethnic people here as well as its scenery. See local people in their field work apart from rice fields, they also grow all kinds like maize, sweet potato, seasonal fruits and different vegetables. After that you start to ride to Thanh Phu village. Have a lunch en route, trekking, visit golden rice fields and get back Sapa. Relax and get on bus at 3pm back Hanoi. Bus arrives Hanoi around 9pm. We pick you up to transfer you back your hotel in Hanoi. Trip ends at your hotel doorstep.
