Sapa is a frontier township and capital of Sapa District in Lao Cai Province in north-west Vietnam, has been popular and well-known resort destination by both domestic and international tourists as the most attractive destination to visit.

Normally, visitors often want to come here for a trekking tour in the summer or fall.

In the summer, although the weather is quite warm, it is not as hot as other regions in Vietnam. But in the period between April and May, you will have the chance to see the wonderful scenes of many colorful flowers and green fields there. Or Many Vietnamese visit Sapa after the Lunar New Year to admire the blossoming cherry trees.

You will see snow in winter when the temperature is below 0 degrees Celsius. And winter in Sapa usually lasts from December to February. 

Some recent years, snow falls at the end of December which is the great time for a Christmas holiday and New Year vacation. Travelling to Sapa at this time, visitors may contemplate beauty-spot as breath-taking as in picture described in the Snow Queen fairy tale of Andersen. This will  be an amazing experience. Not any winter Sapa also has snow and 

Although the weather in Sapa is very cold, the temperature varies from 0 to 10 degrees Celsius. Especially in recent years the winter temperatures tend to be higher so it is not easy to see the snow and snow is only available in some places in Sapa.

And where you can have the good luck to feel the snow of Sapa that is the peak Fansipan – roof of Indochina. There were many of our visitors conquering Mount Fansipan in the winter and they were fortunate to see the snow on top of this mountain. It would be great to see the snow in a great place – the roof of the Indochina.

However, it is important to note that Sapa tourism during the snow, you need to have good health and a reputable company to support, and forecast the time of the snowfall in Sapa. Otherwise it would be hard to have a great trip
